iPhone Back Glass Replacement in Phenix City, Alabama

Shattered rear glass is more than cosmetic — loose shards cut fingers, moisture gets in, and wireless charging can stop working. We replace iPhone back glass for $79 to $149, usually the same day.

Why you should not live with cracked back glass

  • Loose glass shards that cut your hand or pocket lining
  • Cracks spreading a little further every week
  • Wireless charging and MagSafe becoming unreliable
  • Moisture and dust reaching internal components
  • Trade-in and resale value dropping sharply
  • A case that no longer sits flush on the damaged panel

How the repair works

  1. 1

    Assessment

We check whether the camera lens covers and frame took damage along with the glass.

  2. 2

    Laser separation

The bonded rear glass is separated cleanly rather than chipped away.

  3. 3

    New panel

A color-matched rear panel is installed with fresh adhesive and sealing.

  4. 4

    Function check

Wireless charging, MagSafe alignment and rear cameras are tested before pickup.

Why back glass repair used to be so expensive

On iPhone 8 through iPhone 13, the rear glass is bonded directly to the chassis, and the manufacturer's own answer was usually to replace the entire housing at a price close to a new phone. Proper separation equipment changed that. We remove only the glass, leaving your chassis, battery and internals in place, which is why the job comes in at $79 to $149 instead of several hundred.

Cracked camera lens glass too?

The rear camera lens covers are separate pieces from the main back panel and often break in the same drop. Cracked lens glass scatters light and shows up as haze or flare in your photos. We can replace lens covers on their own or alongside the back panel, and we will tell you which you actually need.

Wireless charging after the repair

A properly installed rear panel restores Qi wireless charging and, on MagSafe models, correct magnet alignment. We test both before you leave.

Back Glass Replacement questions

How much is iPhone back glass replacement?

$79 to $149 depending on model, with the newer Pro models at the higher end. Exact price quoted before we begin.

How long does the repair take?

Most back glass replacements are same-day, and many are finished within a couple of hours.

Is my iPhone still water resistant afterward?

We reseal with fresh adhesive, which restores much of the original resistance, but no repaired phone should be treated as waterproof. Keep it out of the pool.
